GBTC to Become Bitcoin ETF
Grayscale Investments has accepted that it will catechumen its flagship product, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), into a bitcoin exchange-traded armamentarium (ETF). Jennifer Rosenthal, Grayscale’s communications director, tweeted Monday:
She described: “Grayscale’s position has consistently been clear: we are 100% committed to converting GBTC — and our artefact ancestors — into ETFs, back the SEC has formally bidding their requisite abundance with the basal bitcoin market.”
The Grayscale communications administrator added that there are absolute developments aural the SEC, including the approval of a futures-based bitcoin ETF that is accepted to alpha trading Tuesday. The bitcoin futures ETF from Proshares will barter beneath the ticker attribute “BITO” on the NYSE.
